ISEET, in collaboration with UNICEF and the Iraqi Ministry of Health, successfully conducted a hands-on administrative training workshop for the Immunify platform from July 6 to 10, 2025, in Erbil. The training brought together immunization staff and administrative teams from both the central Ministry of Health and the Kurdistan Region to strengthen their capacity in system configuration, oversight, and technical support for Immunify.

This practical workshop served as a critical step in preparing the national workforce to manage and scale the Immunify platform. Participants were divided into four working groups, each equipped with administrative system access. ISEET’s team demonstrated the platform’s core modules—including Human Resources, Training, Cold Chain Equipment Inventory, Temperature Monitoring, and Vaccine Supplies and Stock Management—after which participants engaged directly with the system, entering data and navigating the modules independently.

The structure of the workshop was designed to simulate real-use scenarios and empower users to take full ownership of the system. All groups completed their assignments effectively and on time, without complications, reflecting both the system’s user-friendly design and the clarity of the training process. During supervised field visits to health facilities and vaccine stores, participants used the web application in live settings and provided feedback based on their firsthand experience.

Throughout the training, users consistently noted that the system was intuitive and standardized across modules. Most participants were able to configure country-specific settings after the first session, demonstrating the platform’s ease of use and the value of its consistent structural approach.

The workshop concluded with a strong sense of readiness and enthusiasm for the upcoming national rollout of Immunify. It laid a solid foundation for MoH administrators to manage the system effectively and contribute to its sustainability and long-term impact across Iraq’s immunization landscape.
