As part of the ongoing national rollout of the Immunify – Integrated Immunization Supply Chain Management Information System (ISCMIS), ISEET, in collaboration with the Iraq Ministry of Health (MoH) and UNICEF, successfully conducted a Refresher Training for the MoH EPI Core Team in Sulaymaniyah from October 15–17, 2025.

The three-day training brought together key members from the MoH EPI and Kurdistan Region MoH, Kimadia, and UNICEF Iraq, with the goal of strengthening their technical and facilitation capacity to lead the upcoming End-user Training of Trainers (TOT) sessions nationwide.

The refresher training focused on enhancing participants’ practical knowledge of Immunify’s core modules — including Cold Chain Equipment Inventory (CCEI), Temperature Monitoring, Vaccine Supply and Stock Management (VSSM), and HR & Training — to ensure consistent and effective system use across all levels of the health supply chain.

Through live demonstrations, practical exercises, and group discussions, participants reviewed recent system updates, explored new features, and practiced hands-on data entry and reporting workflows. The sessions also emphasized data quality, user management, and national configuration alignment to ensure readiness for Immunify’s nationwide deployment.

During the workshop, participants and technical teams jointly reviewed feedback from earlier training sessions and documented several enhancement requirements, including interface improvements, validation rules, access permissions, translation updates, and integration refinements with DHIS-2. These inputs will guide the next system update cycle before the full rollout phase.

The training concluded with a shared commitment between MoH, UNICEF, and ISEET to finalize all system configurations and prepare for the End-user TOT sessions to begin in the following weeks.

The Immunify platform represents a major step forward in digitizing Iraq’s immunization supply chain, improving data visibility, efficiency, and decision-making from the national to facility levels. The refresher training reaffirmed the strong collaboration among ISEET, UNICEF, and MoH in advancing digital transformation and strengthening the country’s immunization infrastructure.
